Services Provided
Ottawa Interior Designing
services are based on an hourly rate of $85/hr plus HST. MelMac
Designs can re-decorate any room in your home; basements, bathrooms,
kitchens, bedrooms, living and dining rooms as well as new home
additions. I would be more than happy to help you with any of the following interior decorating needs you may have.
Paint Colour Consulting
This will usually take between one or two hours of design time. I will take the stress out of the decision making process. You will be left with the confidence that your new paint colours will complement your homes finishes and will create a colour flow thoughtout your space. I often suggest Benjamin Moore paint colours but also work with C2, Behr and Pratt & Lambert's paint pallet if your prefer their colour selection.
Accessorizing & Lighting
Your furniture is in, your walls are painted but your room still needs art and accessories and lighting. I have many clients enlist my services to help them add the final touches to their space. I will work within your budget and design style to create a more complete look to any room in your home.
Window Treatments
Are you confused about all the options available on the market for dressing your windows. I can help to select the best option to address your needs of privacy, light filtration or adding texture, pattern and visual appeal. Ask about a free in home window treatment consultation.
Furniture Placement & Space Planning
Do
you have an awkward room that is difficult to arrange furniture; or a
room that you are just not sure how to use? I can offer floor plans
with space planning and furniture placement ideas.
Home Staging
Getting ready to sell your home. Staging your home for sale has been proven that they sell 50% faster than a non staged home. I can complete small sating projects in just an hour or tow. This includes a walk through your home making a list of recommend changes or help showcase your homes best features. Furniture placement or reworking your existing pieces are generally included. I often do larger staging projects where furniture rental, delivery and setup are required.
Finishes Selection & Renovations
Renovating or buying a new home involves alot of planning and coordination. I can help you select all of your finishes such as tile, cabinets, counter tops, hardwood, carpet and fixtures to ensure your vision exceeds your expectations.
I work closely with many
renovation contractors to ensure quality workmanship and attention to
detail. My experience and creativity have led to many very satisfied
clients.
